Special Programs

MedLinks is a unique program offered to those who have special needs related to exercise - originally designed to "bridge the gap" between your hospital-based outpatient treatment and your return to an independent exercise program. As a participant in this program, you work specifically with a FoxCare Fitness specialist and have limited use of Club facilities during regularly scheduled program times. FoxCare Fitness' exercise specialists, in conjunction with your medical providers, monitor exercise progress in this 1-hour session of varied exercise, offered 2 or 3 times weekly to program participants. Cardiovascular exercise on bikes, treadmills, and other equipment is combined with resistance training and other specifically designed exercises to help you recover safely from debilitating injury or illness. Your FoxCare Fitness specialist plans a program of exercises that takes into account your overall physical fitness, medical condition, and desired goals. A referral from your physician or clinical provider, clearly stating your medical diagnosis, is required for this program and should be updated regularly during program participation.

We encourage all of our members to inquire about any of the above programs at the Front Desk. In addition, we welcome any suggestions for new programs you would like to see implemented at FoxCare Fitness - we strive to offer challenging and motivating programs that meet the needs of our membership and the Oneonta area.

All programs require pre-registration and payment unless otherwise indicated. Please inquire at the Front Desk or call 431-5454 for more information.
